bowhunter97
What poundage do u have ur bow set at?
deer slayer
Mines set at 65 for now I'll prolly crank it up when season gets here. Ya oughta trade ur bow in plus cash for a new one. That's what I did to get my Exile and I love it. And do ya know where Cole went??
bowhunter97
Where would i be able to trade it i tho n what bow did u have before? N i have no clue where he went.
deer slayer
youth bowhuntin I went to my local bow shop n traded it in. I had a pse bruin it was a 06 I think n 38 inches long. My exile is like 30 inches long n it's a heck of a lot easier to shoot especially from a stand or other tight spots ya get into while huntin. N I just sent cole a email to see what he's up to. bowhunter97
Sweet man did they give you cash or did u trade for the exile?
deer slayer
He took like 100 bucks off the price of the Exile. He woulda took more off but I took all my acc. off my old bow to put on the Exile cuz they were all brand new. I think I'm gonna buy new sights, quiver and stabilizer then give my old ones to my younger brothers who are just gettin into huntin this year. bowhunter97
Thats sweet did u buy the bow yourself? N how much was ur exile? N did u get it brand new?
deer slayer
Yeah I bought it myself. It cost me 269 but without the trade in it woulda cost me 400, n yeah it's brand new right off the rack. Plus the day I bought it I had it custom setup for me. He put my sight, rest, stabilizer and quiver on and lined everything up perfect and custom cut my arrows to my draw length. I thought it was a pretty good deal, he set it all up for free.

speedjunkiejp
Question for the youths. What draw weight did you guys start at? What age did you start? Wanting to get my boys into bows and they are 8 & 7. I bought a kids compound to start but it has rope for string and it horrible.
deer slayer
I started bow hunting at 12 n my draw weight was 55 pounds. I've grown up huntin all my life only with shotguns, but bow hunting is way better than shotgun huntin. Hope this helps ya!
