Turkeygirl
Last cpuple times I've ordered from Cabelas, my order has come in like 2 days! Placed an order Tuesday, I had some birthday money - they had 1 cent shipping if you bought clothing. So I got a dry plus RT AP camo fleece balaclava - orginally like $35, on sale for $9, then got a rotary fly tying vice:shifty: Placed it Tuesday evening, came home from work Thursday evening and there was the brown Cabelas box. Good job Cabelas!

wtnhunt
That's cool Ruth. Usually takes 4 days with orders from cabelas here. Dunno why, but sometimes they lag a little on processing the orders and it might be 5 days. I need to place an order with cabelas myself before the end of this month, got a $50 off on $500 and about a $100 in points. Cannot decide if I want to go ahead and get a new ml'er or a spotting scope and a few other things we need.
dbHunterNY
that's why they're as big as they are. i visit one at least once a year and don't even have one around here. a long weekend annual family trip to Maine is coming up. i make a trip to Cabelas in scarborough then. i save up Cabelas credit all year long and keep any special offer stuff i get in the mail. pretty much go on a shopping spree and it's like extreme couponing at Cabelas! whole cart full of stuff and i pay close to nothing. Last year i spent $0.58, only because my other half wanted a last minute soda on impulse.

Unfortunately most of the coupons/bucks we get are timed offers and cannot be used together, used to be they would let you use them together on online orders but they quit doing that. We accumulate points pretty quick, use the cabelas card for everything we can and WE NEVER carry a balance. Think last year we had over $30,000 on the card, but some of that was bills for hospital and well baby/momma care and also stuff going into this house. I try to save up points until I get enough to make it worth while, rare I make it a year. Too bad the bonus point network does not work at lowes for in store purchases, I keep getting emails about using the network to earn more points. krystens22887
I have had the same awesome service with them too! We visited the Hamburg, PA store and it was amazing! Its the bigger one in PA and its awesome!
Droptine redemption
I've never been to the one in PA, but I know the one in michigan and west virgina are awesome. They we're pretty similar to me and going to either one doesn't matter, we make the august pre deer season trip annually:)

krystens22887
Well before you make your decision as to which pa cabelas to visit get online and look at the stores. They actually list what extras they have and their square footage so you know your picking the bigger better one. Like Hamburg has an aquarium but the other pa one doesn't! I'm glad I did my research before I made the drive.

krystens22887
Omg your right we are right between the wheeling, wv one and the Hamburg, pa one and it was almost the exact same distance for either so I used the site to find the bigger one. Sorry lol
BRHNTR
As much as I favor Cabelas over BPS and living within 10 miles of a Cabelas the big deal of going to one is gone for me. It's just like going to Wally world now!

It's just like going to Wally world now! i have to travel out of state to go to one. what you're saying definitely is not a bad thing at all. the thing is even if the store doesn't have it an associate can get you free shipping. RainbowTroutHoney
It is hard to find women's clothing on slae in department stores. I wish that Cabelas was closer to me or Bass Pro Shop. The lack of hunting and fishing shops is driving me crazy!
Rackmasta68
Awesome Cabelas! The Cabelas in PA was really cool you will be there all day think of it as a hunters museum but if you like Cabelas you gotta try Bass Pro Shops in Harisburg PA that was freakin awesome
wtnhunt
Usually takes 4 days with orders from cabelas here. Dunno why, but sometimes they lag a little on processing the orders and it might be 5 days. Cabelas dropped the ball a bit on my most recent order with them. Standard shipping always shows 3-6 days. Order status was "in process" and did not ship until day 5(3 full business days) after I placed the order, still should get here the last day of the timeline they promised, but their processsing this time was substandard for them. dbHunterNY
yea usually stuff ships quick. once in a while they get backed up during busy times. should have a Cabelas full strut turkey decoy when i get home tonight. heard it's got a cheap as could be fan on it, but i'll add a real dried one to it that'll work better. ...also it's getting closer to the family's annual Maine trip. i've got close to $205 in cabelas credit to spend up in scarborough. i'm getting anxious in regards to the whole trip.
