Whats your favorite number of pins? I been wantin a one pin moveable sight and was wondering if anybody else liked them?

some can't deal with the "clutter" of multiple pins. i don't like the idea of moving it before i do anything else. personally i've always had 4 or 5 pins. i prefer 5 set for 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards.

Same here. I don't want the extra movement of reaching up to adjust a single pin.

I have 4 pins. 20-30-40-50

I like a three pin, base on I feel that five is a mess!!!. But, I set a different yardage. I run a 22.5, a 32.5 and a 45.5. This will allow the adjustment for the pins in sight for a inch to a two inch. For the yard it two in judgement for the shoot!!! If you think this is silly I can understand. But, write it down fire the bow at 20 and then set the pin for 22.5 yards. And shoot your set of three and see for your self the more room fir the distances that you can work with. Now, the last pin is the hard one to play with. Now, we also know that we all shoot different size arrows, field points, broad heads, and different weight s on out bows. And plus our bows are different speeds. So, for the animal's sake know you speed and what that Ibo is at your furthest distance is!!! Thar will help thus the setting of the pins.

3 pins only. Very close, Very Far and anything in between.

On a 10 -25 yard shot, there is no significant difference whatsoever. Try it out on a target!

Any more than 3 pins and it clouds the mind and creates doubt.. "Is it 30 yards or 40 yards, what if it is between 35 and 40? Should I use the 30 and aim a little high or use the 40 and aim an inch or too low."

You have 3 pins and it quiets the mind, creates certainty and confidence. It is either close, far or in between.

Anything out to 25 yards gets the first pin. Anything around 40 - 50 and it gets the last pin (which will not be used much if at all). Anything in between gets the middle pin.

i have been shooting a 5 pin sight for many many years and im used to it. all 5 pins are .019 and green. i have shot this type of sight so long and so much, that there is no confusion when i need to make a shot.

pick a sight that works for you and then never change it. shoot it so much that its then becomes second nature.

i'll make another comment seeing how you'd like to stick with a single pin sight. my fiance's bow is somewhere a little below 50 lbs and it's basically the model bow previous to yours (Diamond Edge basically the same) she's 25.5" for a draw length if i can remeber.

if her bow had a single pin i'd make it 20 yards. her absolute max is 30 under perfect conditions, so basically 25 or so yards is a realistic max. at 25 yards the hold over for her 20 yrd pin is close to the same gap as her 10-20 yr pins. for 30 yards and out you really need know the yardage exactly, as the pin gaps are pretty big. also the chances with that setup to get a pass through for a good blood trail are significantly reduced. so that's my educated opinion, set it at 20 yards and shoot it.
