My son uses g5 montecs and I've been very pleased on how they have done. He's 9 and only shooting 40lbs but had a complete pass through on one and hit front shoulder on the other, both ended in kills and both heads were still in great shape.
dang your son must workout! I couldn't shoot 40 till like 12 but now I shoot 60 (my bow is maxed out) and I'm 14

Hey hey hey dont jump to a conclusion right away. lol But seriously look at muzzys and see what works best for you setup. I love my muzzy 4 blades. I have gotten pass throughs on hogs with them. And just to throw this in there on an acual box of muzzys i read "muzzy bad through the bone" Thats where i got my sig from.

I've used the g5 t3 for the past 2 seasons. I've shot 3 deer, all with complete pass throughs. Very sturdy and I've been able to re-use. I did however lose one off the deer (big buck). More to do with shot placement, but the blood trail started good. I have considered the tekan or rage because I like the cut on contact.

Used the G5 Tekkan 3 last year with mixed results. The first kill was my biggest buck to date at 50 yards with a complete pass through. He did the ol' wobble and went down within sight. The second shot was on a doe and I hit the dreaded shoulder blade. Found my arrow with the broadhead snapped at the insert and blood about five inches up the shaft. Never did find the doe. I'm thinking I am going to switch to fixed blades this year. I have used Muzzy in the past and they are TOUGH.
