whitetailfreak55
The hostages are a pretty good rest for cheap I'd check it out
dbHunterNY
i use a whisker biscuit QS (older version with metal mounting brackets) on my backup bow and on my fiance's bow is a QAD Ultra-Rest Hunter. I'd highly recommend either and they're in your price range. .....i'll add that i'd prefer the QAD. also if you get that have it installed with the metal clamp on the bow cable and don't let them serve it in. Stinger-Hunter
i use a whisker biscuit I agree with the Whisker Biscuit. Can beat 'em.
dbHunterNY
The whisker biscuit tears up my vanes pretty bad I'm going with a drop away pretty soon but they can get pretty pricey drop away rests can be more forgiving than a whisker biscuit and easier on your fletching, so i prefer them. that said i really haven't had any trouble or much fletch wear it all while shooting a biscuit. shot over a thousand arrows through a biscuit; 4" duravanes factory installed on goldtip arrows and blazer vanes i had installed on easton arrows. my vanes are dotted with glue that's a little elastic at the front and back tips of the vanes. deer slayer
I went with a Trophy ridge whisker biscuit with my new setup, and it's my favorite rest I've ever used. You never have to worry about your arrow falling off, or your arrow making noise when the wind blows hard and etc. So I'd go with whisker biscuit but that's just me. Cole14bowhunting
bowhuntin rests I'm with deer slayer on this one and anybody else who said whisker biscuit
RangerClay
Check around on Archery Talk, you may find a decent used drop away for a good price. If not, get a Whisker Biscuit they are good rests. Just be sure to use Blazer vanes because the whiskers will ruin most other vanes.

I have only used this setup for 1 year, but so far I am happy with it.
DropTine49
I won't take a bow in the woods to hunt unless it has a biscuit on it!! Excellent rest that is "Fail-Proof"!! Target shooting is a slightly different subject.
