Ohiobucks
Maybe try recording a shorter video... Got me buddy, the few videos I put on youtube took forever to load, and they were only 30-40 meg.

There are some up loaders that keep the metadata to the front so the processing goes a little faster. Another option is to do the uploading overnight. ruttinbuc
Your welcome, John. I should have mentioned there are other things that can slow the upload down. Your connection speed is important of course. It also helps to have a clean computer. By that I mean it has to be up to date on maintenance of the Windows registry and the browser so there is less for the upload to fight through. Every little bit helps, pardon the pun. smallmunster
If you have a video editing program you can change the file type and/or reduce the quality to make it smaller. I change avi video to windows media and it will drastically reduce the size. Depends on what file format your phone shoots in. I use a combination of free programs and windows movie maker to get it done. One converts the video to a new file type (my camera files are not compatible with Movie maker) and movie maker edits (if needed) and will save a lower quality compressed file type. ruttinbuc
Here is the free converter I use when I find it necessary. There is always going to be a trade off from one format to another. A lot depends on the source file to start. You can turn good video into bad video in a hurry. It is always a good idea to save the original file Free Video Converter - Any Video Converter Freeware - convert video free to AVI, MP4, WMV, MKV, MPEG, FLV, SWF, 3GP, DVD, MP3, WebM, iPad, Android, PSP, Tablet PC
redkneck
Thanks for the help guys. When I got to work though it uploaded much faster, maybe about an hour so I didn't have to edit it.
