Leo
Last week my wife was diagnosed with TMJ. Essentially this is a constantly inflamed jaw muscle that causes headache, fatigue... Although she is happy to finally have her headaches diagnosed. Tomorrow she is going to be fitted for an orthotic. She will have to wear this contraption for months every day and even sleep with it on! On top of that it's gonna cost us $2000 to get the thing. I really and truly hope this helps her. But honestly I'm a little worried it won't work. If anyone here has some experience with orthotics and TMJ. Please share!

RangerClay
I have TMJ but when I was diagnosed 10 years ago they called it TMD (Temporomandibular disorder). I don't have the symptoms as bad as your wife. But a great deal of this condition is brought on by stress. I have found that stress reducers do more to help me than anything else. I hope the orthotic's help her, I know how uncomfortable it is.
dbHunterNY
Don't know anything about it... wish her the best though. Sounds not good in the slightest.
MUDRUNNER
My wife has it too, but not quite to that extent yet. Hopefully the orthotic works for her. If it does give her some relief it may be worth my wife looking into.
