MUDRUNNER
I had a free weekend a few weeks ago, so I decided to throw a suspension lift on the old Ford. Got some new 35" Terra Grapplers put on yesterday so I though I would post a few pics. I think it turned out pretty sweet...now it looks like something I would drive. Next thing is some step bars so the wife can climb in a little easier LOL. before: After: Edited March 28, 2012 by MUDRUNNER

Shaun_300
I take it you did it yourself, how was the install? Looks great! Be sure to get a wheel alignment done so it doesn't chew your nice new tires off.

Be sure to get a wheel alignment done so it doesn't chew your nice new tires off. Yea, did it myself. It took me around 12-13 hours. Had a few hiccups along the way, but nothing too major. This is actually the third IFS suspension lift I've installed over the years. I did an '02 Dodge I had, and a buddies '04 3/4 ton Chevy. Not much differance between them really. I've also put on four solid axle lifts too. The alignment shop is the first place it goes once the tires touch the ground! I always liked big trucks since I was a little kid playing with my Stompers lol. I seem to lift just about every truck I've ever had. Since this is my daily driver and I plan on keeping it for quite a while I didn't want to go too high. Where the torsion bars are set now it's about 4 3/4" of lift, and the tires are about 3" taller than stock.
