effblue
This coming season will be my first hunt ever. I don't have anyone to take me so I'll be going by myself. I've been shooting a PSE Nova with Beamon carbon arrows they are the 340's. I have g5 broad heads 100grain same as target heads. I've been practicing for two years and if I don't say myself a descent shot inside of 40 yards. I was planning on getting a tree stand but after watching as many you tube videos as I can they don't look safe for a nooby. Can you guys help this green horn and suggest a blind. Any help would be great.

Flintlock1776
Double Bull Matrix RECURVE, their biggest. Since Primos bought out Double Bull, you may have to call and ask to special order their biggest blind, the Matrix Recurve model, big enough for hunters using a longbow! I have this blind, it is awesome!
bowhunter97
we have a primos and the windows are really high. Just remember when you go to buy one to sit in it and see you you like it and can shoot out of it. Also Welcome to the forums
dbHunterNY
i've hunted in rhino blinds and doublebull blinds. they're more durable and easy to use then some of your other cheap spring steel blinds like the Ameristep Dog house (a style which i've also used and owned). the doublebull's are also not as cheap. i definitely think it's by far worth the added cost though. treestands are not as dangerous as you'd think. watch the safety dvd that comes with one and flow it without hesitation, that includes wearing a harness. RangerClay
I've had my Ameristep Doghouse for about 5 years now. I've shot two deer and three turkeys with a bow in that 5 years. I have no complaints its been very good to me. The nylon shell is starting to weaken from the sun's UV rays. There is nothing better than a ground blind if you have kids who want to come along. dbHunterNY
yea joe i like some others more but i did get one years back and had it until last year. I think it was worth the purchase, heck I paid a little over $50 for it. any cost to get kids out in the woods is worth it, but yea it's pretty affordable. enough that i couldn't resist buying one. i guess i got spoiled sitting in fancy top dollar blinds when i was with an outfitter. OKstate
I got a g3 for christmas, havent had a chance to shoot anything but it is much easier to move around in than the old doghouse blind! Hoping to take a turkey out of it this weekend.
RangerClay
Lately I read an article in Outdoor Life that rated these blinds 4 out of 5 stars. Plus the price is VERY reasonable.
