redkneck
Nope. But have stayed in a holiday inn express a few times, what you got? Also, iboats forums are very helpful.
rage man
oil injection I have a 90 hp mercury with oil injection. The oil alarm was going off. So i started tinkering with it and it comes on with the key. Not just when its running. So i disconnected the reservoir wires and it stopped. So hp it safe to assume that its a bad oil level sensor? Shaun_300
Yep, is it a two wire sensor? If it's off when unplugged short the two wires together, the light should come on, if it does you need a new oil level sensor.
rage man
yes Its a two wise sensor. It has two blue wires going into bottom or the reservoir. What light are you saying should come on?
Ravin R10 man
I would guess the oil alarm light that you were asking about
rage man
hmm I might have confused myself. Its an audible alarm from under the dash. I thought I was missing something. Anyways another question to anyone following. When I clean the carbs this weekend is there a factory "guideline or starting point" on how many turns to back out the adjustment screws from all the way in? Its tough to get all carbs adjusted! Not looking forward to it but sure will be satisfied when its done. And I know I didn't may a mechanic 150$ per carb.
