kcall
lone wolf assault treestand And or the alpha
dbHunterNY
nope my Alpha isn't going anywhere, sorry... nice stand though. i love and use every feature of it. i have yet to hear a noise from it, even one day it was so cold i lasted less than a couple hours on stand. i really like and would go with the size of the alpha. it's really light still too. i usually see them for $249. they're kind of like Underamour; tough to find on sale anywhere. kcall
lone wolf assault treestand Hey dbhunterNY. How big of trees can you put the alpha on? Big trees?
dbHunterNY
well the alpha is a hangon for one, so as long as you have straps big enough. just this past season i had it on a cedar tree that was big enough to where i needed two straps to get around the tree and when i turned around, i couldn't see around it. it still bit hard into the tree and was rock solid. kcall
lone wolf assault treestand Sweet did you have to buy an extra strap? Or put a ratchet on yourself?
dbHunterNY
Sweet did you have to buy an extra strap? Or put a ratchet on yourself? on their site they had treestand strap extensions that weren't too expensive. you'd only need a couple (one for each of two straps). it costs about the same to buy ratchets so it's up to you. a ratchet strap if you've already got one would probably work if you went under the hub thing that the strap loops go around.
