deer slayer
My Mossberg 500 12 gauge pump. It was my granddaddy's gun and then I got it when he passed away. It's been through a house fire so the wood stock is burnt looking, the barrel is scratched up, but it still shoots like its brand new. I will never change the stock or anything, I'm gunna leave it the way he used it. I remember him taking me hunting when I was young, and we always used that gun, we had a blast together.... I miss that ole man a lot:(

moosejunk
You need to get yourself a muzzle break put on it. It makes all the difference in the world. I don't have blood dripping off my forehead anymore.

I miss that ole man a lot:( those guns always hold a special place man #2 for me is a Remington 1100 12 gauge that my grampa had. When my dad and my grampa bought a few guns off people they didnt get the registration but then they bought a brand new gun they had the registration and all. Then the guns got stolen and because of the one registration they got the guns back. That gun tells stories for me. I miss my gampa also he passed the day before Fathers Day in 2008. I think about him quite a bit i got a picture of him hanging in my room.

RangerClay
I have four favorite deer guns all have special sentimental value. My very first gun that my dad gave me, my first Browning, etc. Its hard to pick just one. My go to gun that usually reach for first is my Marlin 336 levergun in 30-30. If the crosshairs on that gun touch a deer within 150 yards.....it's gonna die.

fly
I'd like to have a 12 guage bolt action shotgun, but since I don't I use my Remington Genesis 50 Cal ML with a Nikon scope. I've killed the most deer with the Cabelas gun the Wii remote fits into.
Ultradog
Well, You didn't specify exactly that it had to be for hunting though I've taken a few squirrels, cats and chipmunks with it. A Colt Python w/4" barrel. Plain blue. I'd probably let a few long guns go before I'd let that one go. Especially as I live here in the city. m gardner
for deer hunting mine is my remington 30-06 springfield pump with a black synthetic stock I had a Remington pump in 30-06 with a Williams receiver sight when I moved from Vermont to Colorado. I shot a 4x5 mulie and a 5 point elk on my first hunt before I realized I needed a 300 magnum to hunt out here. :hammer1:
