gzilla45
Reading stories like this really angers me. These guys are the scum of the earth. It sounds like the guy who did most of the shooting potentially could only lose hunting rights for 9 years. That is way too few in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned he shouldn't be able to hunt ever again. I hope they get a judge who throws the book at them. redkneck
I agree. They should throw the book at them and revoke their license for life. Sickening
dbHunterNY
yup shouldn't have a right to hunt anything ever if they have that little respect for wildlife. probably should go away for a long time too more than what it says.
wtnhunt
You got it right with your post title for sure, disgusting! Don't hardly think 9 years is close to being enough time either, agree with John should be lifetime forfeiture.

Looks like 2 of them were related. What idiots.

OKstate
Just another example of why it is impossible to maintain a balanced herd with quality animals.

Hunt or be Hunted
You think "taking their License away" Will stop them? Yeah right! They didn't have a license when they did it the first time! Put their butts in jail. Then they can't for sure.
Shaun_300
That is sickening! Definitely deserve some years in jail for that stunt. And loss of hunting and owning a firearm privledges for life.
stevebeilgard
o.k, we were all kids once. young & dumb. if i were a judge, i'd go with a lighter sentence such as loss of hunting privileges for 2 years and a $5,000. fine paid to the game and fish. then, i'd add a 3 year jail term with no chance of parole if they ever, in their life, do anything like that again. even kids that age will get that message. yea, i know. i'm just an old softie.... lol

Young and dumb. I'd imagine it is quite boring in their part of Wisconsin. Most unfortunate that they got their kicks at the expense of the wildlife. gzilla45
There are plenty of things to do in Wisconsin that don't involve shooting deer for the fun of it. Just reading in the news this morning of a group of teens that not only were burglarizing cabins but also suspected to have shot 30 deer in another thrill kill. This really hits close to home for me as these punks were doing this in the backyard of where my cabin and hunting land is. It's been a few months since anyone has been to my cabin and I hope it is ok. Our deer herd is having a hard enough time keeping numbers up with the wolf problem we have and we certainly don't need idiots further hurting their numbers. Seeing this stuff makes me sick to my stomach. ruttinbuc
There are plenty of things to do in Wisconsin that don't involve shooting deer for the fun of it. Don't take it personal. I'm sure there is other stuff to do. However, the very rural nature of that part of the state makes it easy for this to take place. A more urban setting and I doubt it would have went as far. RangerClay
Looks like more than just thrill killing. With the burglary too I'll bet they were stealing for drug money.
