ruttinbuc
An Easter evening ride had me come across a group of tom turkeys gathering in an open field. It was like a boys night out feeding in the field with the local herd of whitetail deer looking on. The double bearded old gobbler will have some stout competition for the breeding rights, for sure. A hen turkey shows just how fast she can run from the camera. The hunting season is weeks away, just up the road.

wtnhunt
Lot of toms and not so many hens there, right opposite here. Looks like you should have a real good season Mike, some nice birds there. Good luck. Nice video too.
ruttinbuc
Thanks for watching the clip. Glad you enjoyed it There were hens in the frame with the long shot, William. They were in a field to the left. I just didn't include them in the clip. This is the first I actually went looking to see what might be around. Most of my hunting is right back to where I hunted in years past. I guess the same holds true for the critters that old habits are hard to break.
