wtnhunt
That is pretty cool Mike. Never seen any mature eagles around here, but pretty sure a few years back we had an immature bird we saw a few times. Supposedly a couple mature pairs regulalry spotted south of us, but I have never seen them.
RangerClay
They must be near a pond or lake. A little while ago I watched momma eagle rip apart a fish and feed it to the chicks. That was cool!
ruttinbuc
It is a cool site. This cam is near the Mississippi River. I have seen all kinds of critters from squirrels to trout to bass in the nest. Last night I clicked on the site and an eaglet stood, bent over and fired a stream of bird poop like it was shot out of a howitzer. Funny as all get out. It is raining out there today. Joe, which one is momma?

From what I read the nest at Decorah is in a tree near a fish hatchery. Cool you got to see that, all I have seen everytime I have been to the nestcam is the eaglets huddled under the grown up bird. Looking on the map the river is quite a ways. Not far for an eagle though. There is a stream nearby that you can see when they pan the camera.
