This is a thread from my state forum I saw a while back:

Ready to get my 300 blackout - Guns and Ammo - Mississippi Hunting and Fishing Forums

If you need info, just sign up and ask LeeRacing about it. I assure you, I know nobody else around here that has more BA guns than he does. He can hook you up with info and parts also for your build. Check out some of his toys:

these didnt like the 6.5 grendle or my 223! - Guns and Ammo - Mississippi Hunting and Fishing Forums

When I grow up I wanna be like him. :clown:

Lee racing seems to be a builder...Thanks John!

Great stuff on that site. I have been reading about that caliber and think its a hit. Most likely it will be my next upper caliber. I was considering a big bore like the .458SOCOM, the .450 Bushmaster ect, but ammo prices are rediculous and they are hard to find . The .300 AAC seems to be affordable and readily availible. Thanks again for the site John.

I cant decide on building me a 300blackout bolt gun or just getting a SBR upper and be done with it. Suppressing the 220-240 gr subsonics is what I have in mind. Very quiet and they still pack some down range energy. But then the other side of me wants to build up a very short barreled suppressed .22.

Oh the gun demons are working on me.

simple fix Charlie... move to NY and most of them will go away! Your guns will be neutered like everyone elses and then there will be "world peace".:bang: lol

Charlie...I can only hope one day I will have to opportunity to own SBR's and suppressors. I do think that will require my moving way south of that Mason Dixon line. The Hill Country that is :).

I'd like to deer hunt with an AR type rifle and the 300 AAC is just the ticket without having to move up to a AR10 platform. The .223 is just too light for our 200lb deer here in NYS.
