PSE Deathstalker
I was out yesterday on my parents property, been seein' gobblers and a particular Tom I've been after all week. I'm walking out to my hay bails where I sit in and look out to the field west of my popup blind sure enough there he was at 132 yards. So I sat there about an hour calling him in he got within 50 so I'm thinkin' we're reelin' him in come another 10 yards and the g5's going ticker... Nonesuch luck! Neighbor who knows I'm out there decides to drive the 1 ton out to his stand (instead of walking like I did) at 4 and scared my boy off... Seems like bad etiquette to me? redkneck
Yeah that stinks. Either he turkey hunts or he just don't like you!
Ravin R10 man
from what Ive seen, a vehicle will not scare a bird as much as a human..and if he was on his land he has every right to be out there as you do right? good luck I would not be calling that bird if you are not actually hunting him..they can get call shy
whitetailfreak55
At least You didn't bump the bird that way he could still come into your calls

PSE Deathstalker
disappointment He definitely turkey hunts but we had talked about what time I was going out and he said he wasn't going out until the next morning. Matthews XT man: I am actively hunting that tom but 40yds is my comfort range for a clean kill with my bow. So 52 on the rangefinder wasn't a comfortable shot for me. Hopefully this week or weekend I can pull him back in!
