jesse8953 Posted April 27, 2012 Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 I can't call this one a groung hog because I shot him in a tree.Me and my girlfriend was turkey hunting out of a ground blind when we seen this ground hog in a tree.He was 27 yards and the 3 1/2 inch #5 winchester 12 gauge shell did the job!That's my 1st ground hog of the year.I haven't even been out yet this year.I got turkey hunting to do then after that is over it will be ground hog season for me.
