I put one back out over the weekend, should be some bucks with some antler growth by now, gonna be interested in seeing what we have coming around. mikebohio
im working in woodsfield ohio right now. it is out in the sticks. the only motels are over an hour away so were staying at someones deer camp. surrounded by woods, deer pouring into the fields in the evenings. deer running across the road in front of us every morning. saying it is motivating is an understatement. swohiodave
I leave mine out and try to only check them about once a month so i do not put very much pressure on them.
dbHunterNY
if they've got that much bone this early they're not going to be just a spike. i'm in turkey and woodchuck mode right now. you could bet a stubby deer head will get my attention though. swohiodave
We caught a guy way back in the woods one day say he was looking for ginseng, back where this camera was. He also happened to be standing under a treestand we had put up. Some how he had permission to be there but opted to leave when we said we wished to go talk to the owner with him (the owner is my friends uncle). sskybnd
i stay motivated all year, seems like i spend all year getting food plots ready, feeding year round and scouting, the antisepation kills me at times, but than i just go hog hunting. that fills the void of being in the stand
mgreene18
I put a trail cam near one of my stands around last summer and all year it kept showing pictures of a big ten point in that area. However nobody in our club saw anything last year but after seeing more signs and the trail cam I've never been more motivated haha
