A place to call my own for hunting season!!!

Hey everyone,

Well I've been away getting ready for school once again. But most of you guys remember my grandfather died last year. Well, just now we're starting to divide the property and vehicles and all that stuff. The first thing on everyone in the family's mind was to sell my grandfather's land of 31 acres until me and my sister stepped in to say we wanted it. It has a small house (I'll always refer it to a cabin) and has some nice hunting in the back. It's filled with too many memories to give up to someone else. I want it to stay in the family that way I can take my children someday with me to hunt.

But me and my sister are going to the bank tomorrow to take out a loan for it and to pay my aunt's their share since my Grandfather wanted everything to be equally given to each of his kids.

But hear are some pics of it:

A pic from the front with the hills in back of it.

A shot from up on the hills staring down from behind the cabin.

A pic from my hunting spot looking down the ridge at a trail deer use quite frequently. (That greyish part in the middle of the pic is the trail.)

A shot from the trail that leads to my hunting spot looking down the same ridge from a different angle.

So I'm excited about the upcoming season. My work sells 20lb bags "deer-vour" and we're a hardware store lol. I'm gonna have to get a few and start planting once it warms up. grin.gif Also once once school is over I'm hoping to get a trail cam before fall comes.

What county is your property in? Looks a little south, maybe Ross?

Very close, Tom. It's in Vinton County. Very beautiful scenery in both counties tho IMO.

Vinton. Sweet. You'll have turkey and grouse too.

When can Tom and I come out? grin.gif
