PotashRLS
It has been over a couple years in the making. I know folks on here will find this hard to believe but it took a conservative Governor to redirect the efforts of the WDNR to finally get this deal done. The Packers have been trying to get more progress made but due to some wetlands created by decades of WDOT highway construction, liberals squashed the efforts of Bass Pro Shop to build a store 2 years ago. Now the Packers finally got it done and Cabelas is coming to town. You won't see it in the headlines but good job Gov. Scott Walker and the Green Bay Packers. How cool is that. Cabela's confirmed for Ashwaubenon
LETMGROW
I'm glad to hear this for your area. Isn't it strange when states claim to be business friendly then fight a prospective business tooth and nail to come into an area. Cabellas will be a real asset. Jobs, tax revenue and a tourist draw.= WINNER! Lynn

redkneck
I couldn't tell you the closest one is to here, but nowhere in MS. I hate it but at least I have a bass pro and GM store within reasonable range.
ruttinbuc
Cabelas is less than hour from here. I go now and then. The luster has worn off quite a bit since its opening more than a few years ago. Other than to go and check things out to see goods first hand it is just as easy to have them delivered.
