Adjam5
My son Joe and I set up a trail cam on our property in the southern catskills last week. We had a few surprise visitors. This has always been ahot spot on our land. A busy trail and something the shale seems to leak( I think) makes animals visit. Look at how these brats pull that tree down. Big ole healthy yote. bowhunter97
i have pictures of one laying compleatly down; head and all is on the ground. There are also bears in there that aren't fully grown they would be like yearlings but for bears. I'll get pictures up if ya'll want. Adjam5
We have had bear sign for a quite a few years on our land. Broken apple tree limbs, destroyed blueberry bushes, scat, rotted logs flipped over, tracks ect. But never once have I seen one while the season was open. No one we know either has taken a bear in the area. So they are quite smart. A good 10 acres of our land is swampy and wooded. We cannot get in there. That must be their haven. This was a few years ago in the same spot. Needless to say we have since placed a ladder stand in that area.
ruttinbuc
Those are some cool pics, Anthony. After taking the tour a few winter's ago, I see no reason why there wouldn't be any bruins in those haunts!
