Strut10
Bowhunting fever !!! Both my gobbler tags were gone a couple weeks ago. Found a pair of button buck fawns yesterday. Pulled my trailcam cards over the weekend and got several velvet buck pics. Lil Strut found the shed left side off this buck a week or two back. It's all adding up to the beginning of a summer-long sickness. I can remedy it a little bit if the summer walleye bite is good and if I can get the boat out to do some tubing on the lakes or river. But with another week and then some until spring gobbler season is over.................and I LOVE summer............bow season is NEVER gonna get here !!!!!!! whitetailfreak55
I hear you there Turkey season got over here last Sunday and now I'm itching to hunt. Guess that's why they make hunting videos lol
dbHunterNY
i'm a little disgruntled. i drive by a huge longbeard every day on the way to work. haven't heard or seen any since the first day i hunted on any places i hunt and others haven't either. found a bearded hen that'd be legal, but have passed on her. i just can't do it, especially with low turkey numbers. I'll be out much of this weekend in the mornings for one last try, with my quiver full just in case. mean while i need to shoot at something, so i've started to go to 3D shoots. going to check out a couple new bow stand locations and probably cut some shooting openings now that we've got a leafy cover, so i won't miss any small twigs in the way. call me crazy but i don't think the fever ever left. hoosierhunter
I hear you. It won't be long and I'll start running the cameras again and really get the fever going. I've already had a few phone calls from guys seeing bucks with good horn already. I'll be headed out to Kansas in mid June to set stands, get cameras running, etc.
