The hunt runs for two weeks with the season ending the on Oct 20th, the first day of our Colorado elk hunt. My problem is I have to get a two week vacation approved, have plenty of vacation banked, they just usually frown on taking two weeks straight. The good news is the return trip will go durn near (150 miles or so) through Platoro. I am planning on doing both right now. I am not sure why you would, however, those Nevada tags are returnable.
