redkneck
Matt, or one of you H2O technicians, I am ripping out an old bath/shower and have to replace my old delta rough-in. Need advice, I really would like to avoid soldering, that would involve digging up my water line and installing a new valve (my old gate valve will not shut off 100%). Wondering about shark bites and pex to feed the new valve? The new valve has male threads, so I dont have to sweat it. Advice would be appreciated. If it would be easier over the phone PM me your # and I will give you a ring. Got to make the pilgramage to Lowe's here shortly and would be nice to get all the material there since it's a 60 mile round trip. Thanks in advance! PS- here's the existing valve

Not Matt and not a licensed plumber, but compression fittings do work ok.
redkneck
Yeah I thought about that after I posted William, that's probably the route I'll take. Thanks.
