m gardner
I shoot several matches a week and have been looking for a quality 1911 in 9mm because I'm older and don't enjoy the 45 kicking the snot out of me and haven't been able to find one. Last weekend I found one at Cabelas. It's an S&W 1911 Pro-Series. It's made to very tight tolerances and assembled with a great deal of attention to detail. It actually works right out of the box. Only one failure to feed so far while shooting weak handed and I think that was because the gun seems to be tuned for 124 grain loads not 115's. I like it.
