Adjam5
These are pics that are just NOT availible to the general public. I had to do some massive networking to get a hold of these. The resolution is so good the pics look fake. I walk this site daily, but mostly stay way underground working on the Museum lighting. It should open in about a year. There have been incredible delays with design and paying sub contractors. The owner of the company I work for, is owed over 20 million. Yes, that is 20 Million dollars. Yet he keeps workers at the site toiling daily. He will get paid, but it will take some time. Glad he is a patient man. I take great pride in working at this site and ride others who install shoddy or uncraftsmanlike work. To me this place is a cemetary and should be treated with the highest honor. This is my 2nd year working at Ground Zero. The most important job I have ever worked on in my 28 years in the electrical industry. The tall one of course is Tower 1(we call it the Freedon Tower) Tower 4 is on the far right, and Tower 2 has not yet come out the ground, Tower 3 is just a stump at this point. I hope you enjoy these pics. Not many folks have seen them. These are pics of when the shuttle flew over the site.

whitetailfreak55
That's very awesome. My dad was at ground zero a month after they fell. He works at musco and was lighting up the cleanup crews
redkneck
Absolutely stunning Anthony, and you're right, those are the type pics you would swear were photoshopped, but sometimes you just get a perfect shot. Can't imagine how humbling it must be to work there. Keep the pics coming, always enjoy them!

wtnhunt
Thanks for sharing Anthony. Very cool shots. First two look like graphic art work, look almost too vivid to be photos. The shuttle was flown in the day Christina was leaving on her trip home from NY, too bad the tour folks did not tell the kids to watch, they might have seen it. ruttinbuc
Fantastic shots, Anthony! That almost fish eye view shows just how big that area is. I'd like to get up there one day, but it will probably be built and done by time I do. That piggyback space shuttle shot is pretty cool, too. I have a friend working the barge that is carrying the shuttle to the USS Intrepid Museum right now. Amazing amount of work with all of it. It has to be great to be on a job that means so much to the history of this country.
Adjam5
First two look like graphic art work, look almost too vivid to be photos. . Thanks for the kind words everyone. It is an Honor to work there. I thought the same William when I first saw them. Then I found out that the cam they used for these pics was mounted on another building, using the Hi resolution security spy cams. I was told the cams have over 28 mega pixels of resolution. If you save the pic, you can zoom in quite close without distortion. These pics come direct from the Port Authority. Mike...They are setting the shuttle as I type, on the USS Intrepid. Drove past it on the way home today. Did ya see the folks moving it banged up the shuttle a bit? They brought it through a area that was not wide enough and the wing got clipped and was damaged...Ooops! Check out this link and look at the pics here. http://www.panynj.gov/wtcprogress/image-gallery.html#id=memorial-opens-to-public&num=1 Edited June 6, 2012 by Adjam5 added a link
