sureshot
had a sale this weekend at north american fur auctions and the prices dropped pretty good, last sale I averaged close to 90 dollers a hide this sale had 113 in and 83 sold at a average of 64 dollers, the other 30 were held back becouse the auction would not sell them for a low price.still not complaining on a over 60 average but it is over 2 grand from last sale less, I had one of the top 8 coyotes at the sale the top batch went for 350 dollers, highest coyote I ever sold, the top lot at last sale was 700. I am sure the market is starting to get flooded, people heard of the big prices last sale and hunted hard, over 94000 coyotes this sale, ususlaly the may sale has less than 50000. I exect next year the prices to be lower again, lots held over from this sale and what was not sold.[guys have the option to not sell in may sale and hold them till next feb where prices are usually higher. wtnhunt
Was gonna say you flooded the market Brett. Don't imagine this economy is helping matters either. Still amazes me how many you are able to kill every year.
whitetailfreak55
Good prices. Used to trap quite a bit but never coyotes. Trapped a lot of coons though didn't see very good prices on them
dbHunterNY
yea that's a lot of coyotes, almost double. yet the prices only went down a 1/3. that's still not too bad. i too can't believe how many you take every year.
