csperry
I have a 1942 30-06 winchester and a Ziess scope (conquest) I have tried some medium mounts and rings but they do not adjust the way I need them to. i would like to get Warne or Ziess rings and mounts, I just need to know the price and location to do so? can I get a little help. If there is another set of mounts and rings I can get that would be great not just good please let me know. this is a $800-$1000 scope and a real nice shooting gun. I want something that is on par for both and will last a lifetime. Chris:cowboy:

stevebeilgard
i don't know the rings you need, but i will suggest you contact zeiss and ask them for a list of ALL rings that will work well with that scope. then, i'd go into the forums and look at the post by a fine, longtime member and good guy, ("started a new business ", by toddybowman) who just started an online sports store. it may pay you to get a price for what you're looking for. Shaun_300
Yeah I'd contact Zeiss and see what they have for mounts and rings. Had that problem with my Browning FN .220 Swift, think it's a 1956 model. Came with some crappy 4x scope and see through rings. The front mount is taller than the rear mount or vice versa. Bout new rings and mounts to replace the ugly see through mounts on it but it was shooting 4 feet low at 100 yards. Ended up using the original rings with a Bushnell Elite 5-15x50 scope and now it literally drives tacks.
