turkeybuster
Been getting out on the water alot this year after the cats, and was just curious as to what everyone prefers for bait?
redkneck
Favorite is small live bream if I can get them, don't know if you can use them there. Also live crawfish. After that it's night crawlers I guess. never had great luck with soap.

turkeybuster
Yea I use a combination of cut shiners/bluegill, chicken liver and live bait. Due to the river here holding plenty of cats 40+ pounds, the guys around here fish with up to 12 inch or bigger sucker. It gets pretty serious around here. hilltopper1
Chicken livers and hot dogs work great for me. One feller was catchin nice cats off a boat dock the other day using bacon! I've never heard of using bacon before.
