stevebeilgard
no hogs in wyoming, so i don't know. also, we can't use any artificial lights here.
redkneck
Wish I could tell you. I can tell you don't buy anything from optronics, don't know if they make bow lights, but they do make scope lights and I was really disappointed in the one I bought. Personally I think just a standard head light with red filter and dimmer would serve you best. I've wanted to do the same thing but hogs can be so unpredictable, and I'm not sitting in a stand 8 hours in the dark waiting to try to get a shot when I can trap one instead. redkneck
Thanks man, I just like shooting hogs w bow and this is longest off season ever. Lol I hear you bud, I started baiting them up as soon as season was over, but they only came out in the 7-2 hours at night. Got tired of going back and forth and finally just quit feeding them. Nothing like working some hogs with a bow, just wish they would show up in different hours. Maybe an automatic feeder would train them better. Where you from? fulldraw
Im from south east ga. A place called Charlton co. How bout you? Auto feeders didn't do it for me but try filling half a 5gallon bucket w corn and rest w water. Put lid on top and wait 4 or 6 days till it gets good and sour, pour it out in front of camera, usually draws em out for me.
redkneck
East Central MS here. Diesel fuel splashed on your corn works great, they love that smell. Get about a gallon of diesel and splash it on the side of a spruce pine and they'll come and start rubbing on it in no time. We can now pretty much hunt them 24/7/365 with lights, bait, you name it.
