fulldraw
I was wondering if anyone has used a bow mounted light for sticking hogs at night and how well it worked or how u liked it. Im in the market for one but would like some reviews first.
Rhino
Never hunted hogs at night so I haven't used one. With the quality of the bright, light weight lights out there today I don't see why it wouldn't work.
redkneck
I've thought about this before. Thing is most hogs are pretty dang smart, and I'm thinking if you flip a light on them, even a dim red one they are gonna scatter. What if you got some of them cheap driveway lights with the solar rechargers and put them around your feed and maybe even one or two up in the treestand so you had some ambient light to shoot by. Something like this: Amazon.com: Super Bright Long Stainless Steel Tube Solar Powerd Garden Light - (Set of 4): Patio, Lawn & Garden Leave them out and keep on feeding and they'll get used to it, then let them have it. For gun use these things are great: Night Vision, Green Lasers for Law Enforcement and Military | Laser Genetics I like the driveway light idea, if I wasn't so busy (or lazy) I would give it a shot.
