With heat that is! Heat indexes over 100 for the next 3 days. Wednesday is a high of 93 with a heat index of 117!! I tell ya I sure won't be moving too fast for the next few days, probably drink 5 gallons of water a day too and sweat it all out. I hate the heat, don't remember the last time it was this hot in June. :48:

I feel you, man. Been over 90 here for about 2 weeks now. The next 5 days are supposed to be around 95. On top of that we are pretty much in a drought. I've only had to cut my grass about 5 or 6 times so far. Fall can't get here soon enough!

Dang. Hope you get some rain.

It's been pretty dry here as well got some needed rain there yesterday. Helped some. Rivers are low tho towards the mountains last I checked. Really wantin to go do some fishin.

Not too bad down here right now...sort of a cool snap for us this time of year. Lows in the upper 60's with highs in the low 90's. It'll get back to our normal weather the beginning of next week with lows in the low to mid 70's & highs in the upper 90's. Long range forecast shows 100 for 1 day next week.

I've been wondering the same Anthony! Still 95 right now with the humidity at 10:40pm, was just outside and it feels like you're walking into a sauna. Now they dropped the heat index from 117 to 111 tomorrow, like you said, this is august weather at its most extreme, especially for this area. Hopefully we'll get this crap out of the way now and have a nice summer, but I doubt it.:taped:

Just a quick FYI......water isn't the only thing you need to drink in the heat. Too much water can be a bad thing. Drink Gatorade or something similar to keep your electrolytes in check. Too much water can flush your system of electrolytes and cause water intoxication. A well known member of another forum I frequent died the other day from this. He was 30 years old.

Well we're at 93 feeling like 109 right now, it is brutal! Just got home and my apartment is 80 but feels like a freezer compared to outside! One vehicle I drove today said 38C on the dash which is 100 degrees without humidity so I'm sure it was pushing the 120 mark at mid afternoon. It was bad but not as bad as I thought surprisingly!

Yeah Shawn, crazy hot here too.

At work today while waiting for them to dig a trench for us I watched the back hoe taking out asphalt pull the corner of a piece about 5 foot square up about a foot or more and when it slipped off the bucket it didn't break. Just laid back down and looked as it did before it was touched..... that's hot.
