jesse8953 Posted June 22, 2012 Report Share Posted June 22, 2012 Well, it is official! My girlfriends son Steven is in the Uniter States Army.He got sworn in today.He leaves January 2 for Ft. Benning Georga.He has worked hard for the last 8 months loosing over 70 pounds.He picked to go into the infantry.This will be our last hunting season together before he makes a new life for himself.We better make this year count! Stinger-Hunter Posted June 27, 2012 Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 I did the exact same thing 15 years ago almost to the date (January 7th). Actually it is what GOT me into hunting. Was tired was walking around in the woods with an M16 A2 filled with blanks. Saw a couple turkeys while on (fake) patrol and decided to get a real rifle. 2 years later, my first deer.
