Ravin R10 man
Had my Grandson breylen..2.5 yr old all weekend..took him to the JD dealership sat and he checked out the tractors..skidsteers..excavator..gators and lawnmower tractors..then I took him to a dairy farm with a 259 cow freestall barn so he could see the "dows"....today we went to parade with our fire trucks and ambulance dept in it..it also had lots of older JD 'a's and "b"s..he loved that..and the sirens lights and air horns blowing.. our EMT's had a mock car crash we watched them treat and transport victoms..he was rivited to the action...and then they called in Lifeflight...we were only 50 ft from the landing zone..he loved it!...I was covering his face from the rotor wash but he wanted to peek at it landing...no fear at all...they took the victoms away then returned and landed again...and then we got to tour the helicoptor...I asked him what do you want to do breylen??? He said..."I want to get in the seat and start it up"!!!

redkneck
Sounds like a great time. Kids love heavy equipment (dont we all!). But then again, they're just as happy with a big cardboard box or a fresh pile of dirt!

wtnhunt
Sounds like a great day Martin. But then again, they're just as happy with a big cardboard box or a fresh pile of dirt! Some of the biggest smiles come from some of the simplest things. Had the boxes from some of our appliances when we were building the house here that were real good for the kids to play in, our youngest had a blast. Yup..we got home and he played for over two hours in the dirt.. throwing rocks into a puddle, and chasing the cat around...almost had to drag him into the house for bath time, he was yawning and stumbling around he was so tired out. My brother pulled in to pick me up for work, I get in his truck look back and see him looking out the window at me...I have a tough time seeing him leave
