I've told people for years that they have progressively made criminals out of people for doing what they did legally by passing new laws for the "common good". You are breaking the law when you shoot any human silhouette or human effigy target in many states (that's why there are alternative IPSC targets) but it's not enforced so far. They would really prefer you didn't own a gun but will settle for you not knowing how to use it to defend yourself. Don't even dare shoot a target with the POTUS on it for sure. Besides the Fast and Furious scandal was known long before it was picked up by the major media on the little blogs. Carter's Country gun stores broke the story with a press release to the major news. Far as this being an indication of martial law being on the way, don't know. We see choppers and guardsman doing maneuvers here all the time, been that way since well before Obama got into office. That said, I do believe Obama could try to impose martial law. No doubt some real unhappy people with the ruling the court handed down yesterday, tensions in this country already high and only going to escalate, history could well be on its way to being repeated very soon. You guys have to understand, combat in an urban terrain is NO different than doing a patrol down main street. Although the threats are not there, the training and civilain factors are! The majority of the time if not all, law enforcement would come onto base to shoot at our ranges. Just because you see military doing mounted patrols down a populated street doesn't mean a thing! They I believe for years have wanted to take away our weapons but that hasn't happened yet nor do I believe it will happen soon. So for those who say, their trying to take our rights away, that's in the opposite direction! I agree, some politians are bad, but there are a few that are not. If you go as far as to say that our WHOLE government is bad, why support the military? After all, the politians are the ones who decide when we fight! My personal opinion is, democracy is by far the best form of government, you have to take the bad with the good, and if Americans do not like it, let them move to China or Iran, or START VOTING! Liberals, not just Eric Holder and the Obama admin, without any doubt in my mind have for quite some time wanted to hand this country over to the UN, the UN wants citizens of this country to be unarmed. I don't think the UN's agenda is any big secret. I don't believe the same holds true for most conservative politicians in regards to our second amendment right. There is a reason Obama picked Holder. Obama does not have to go after guns and he knows it. Holder I think had other motives with regards to his knowledge of the "fast and furious" scandal, in his efforts to sway public opinion and people who just don't know any better. Well before he was nominated for his position as AG, he had been openly bashing gun owners, blaming them for contributing to the violent crime in Mexico by aiding in the guns getting to the bad guys there. Will never forget the piece I watched back in 2008 that aired on a msm channel where Holder gave the impression that every day gun owners were walking in gun stores and buying 50 calibers and full autos and selling them to drug cartels. What a hipocrit, he knew guns were being walked and planned on continuing to blame law abiding US citizens for drug cartel violence. Holder belongs in jail. Corruption may not be as bad in some states as others, but overall the federal gov't as it is in its current state is full of problems and too many elected officials are not doing the jobs they were elected to do. Our country was founded as a constitutional republic, currently it is not operating the way it was founded, seeing the constitution being twisted. Pretty evident things are not working when 65-70 percent of the people voting in the country say they do not want a healthcare policy and the bully in the white house forces it on us like a dictator and uses his office to intimidate supreme court justices as well as other federal officials. Cannot remember ever in my lifetime watching a president openly saying on camera that he would go around congress if they would not do as he wished, and Obama has done it on more than one occasion. Far as voting goes, absolutely agree that everyone needs to vote. Hopefully there are enough legal voters this time around. Mickey mouse vote counts in Holder's world. Obama has Holder attacking states that are cracking down on voter fraud by requiring a photo id as if getting photo identification is a huge problem for any legal citizen, gimme a freaking break. Obama went with another end around(passing by executive order) to allow how many illegals to become legal, knowing he would get the majority of those votes. So much so wrong going on.
