arrow32
I was walking into Ashley's work and the sky looked kinda green I was like that's odd ten I heard tree snap and I looked behind me saw nothing but just took off to the door.lol I bet the win picked up to 60 to 70 if not more. Power is out I think over the whole county trees an lies down. Dad said the house took a little damage not much and I guess my canoe is gone. Dang storm took somethin l liked lol all is good tho. Supposedly one might have touched down bout 10 mile from here but not sure. Headed home as soon as Ashley is done just gonna have her ride with me. Hope no one else gets this storm just tear your stuff up a little. But the rain is good.
WHISKEYSWAMP
yup, wind was pretty nasty here yesterday afternoon, worst I've ever seen it. It took out several trees on my property that I'll be spending the next week or so cleaning up and power was out until a little after 2am, which the tree in my front yard was the cause of that. Sad part is we only got about 2/10 of rain but it is raining more now at least. Sounds like people were hit worse north south of me.
Rhino
Saw the golf tournament at Congressional is delayed due to the storm too. Trees down, tents blown over, power is out & limbs are scattered around on all the fairways. They're closing the course to all the fans too today for safety reasons. Sounds like if they do get play underway today the players won't have to worry about cell phones & cameras.
Tominator
I've been in a few hurricanes and tropical storms, and I mean to tell you, that wind yesterday was blowing just as hard as a hurricane does. Crazy. I can't believe I didn't lose a shingle or any siding. We lost power 5 minutes before the storm even hit us! The thunder sounded like an artillery barrage. Worst storm I've seen in quite some time.
