dbHunterNY
League night again, for a local 3D outdoor league. Maybe this time i'll break into the 300's. I always seem to mess something up mid way through or joke around, but we'll see.

dbHunterNY
shot a 301 i'm happy, because i managed to stay focused. i shot three 8's and seven 11's. two of the 8's i second guessed the yardage and shot them hot. the targets were out in the open and i tend to do that. the other 8 was a combination of bugs in my face and just plucking the shot off. 10's were high and low. if i had the yardages better nailed down, i feel more of those 10's would've been 11's. with some practice i could get better at yardage estimation. there's no excuses and the score you got is the score you got. i do think that to be a better shooter, you should own up to your mistakes and know exactly the mistakes you made. so, if i can learn from these, correct them, and with more practice my score should improve. it was a fun time, shot the best score of the day, and got a boost in confidence. Turkeygirl
Congrats! I'm looking for some 3D shoots...probably too late to get in a summer league.
dbHunterNY
from what i've seen people don't care if you start a league late. it's prefered if you are there the whole time, but i've never seen someone turned away. it's definitely awesome practice.
