GaryO
I am considering a Carlson's extended Turkey Super-Full .690 tube. What say you? Thanks...
dbHunterNY
Carlson chokes are good. a .690 constriction works well with many shotgun/turkey load combos. if you're going to shoot a shell with Federal's Flitecontrol wad then the choke shouldn't be ported. Otherwise it's getting it and testing it out to see if your gun and shells work well with it.
Strut10
Best advice I could give you would be to call the folks at Carlson's (785-626-3700) and talk to one of their techs. Tell them what gun you have, what shot size and type you will be using and what kind of maximum range you would like to have. They will be able to tell you the exact best tube for your application.
