Ethan Givan
Yep I never lose the fever really, except the couple months before and during turkey season. Im already running a few trail cameras, trying to get some plots in, and scouting a little. Will start putting in some stands, and trimming shooting lanes in a couple weeks. I think about and plan for deer season year round.
Maine Hntr
I've had the fever over a month now, just recently started doing something about though, shooting, setting stands and cameras etc.
fly
Deer Fever 108 temps keep me hot but keep deer fever away from me. Still missing the mountain temps and black bears of Idaho. Once the corn starts to turn gold and the evenings require long sleeves deer fever will be my diagnosis as it is every year. No cure - it's chronic
whitetailfreak55
I've had it since deer season quit. I had today off and spent it checking cameras putting mineral out and hanging stands. Was a very good day

wtnhunt
Hoping to see our second daughter get her first deer this year. Looking forward to what might show up and to the time spent with the kids hunting. Deer outlook here is not so great though, may be a tough season. Ozarkgal
I got to see a large buck this morning and been seeing a few does. This whole week I have been seeing 2 hens and 14 babies with them, I had a mountain lion kill a fawn about 200 feet from the house. The weather has cooled down alittle bit so the wildlife has been very active. We need rain here so bad, most of the ponds around here are all dried up. Happy hunting.... too_pointer
I haven't hunted anywhere since the Alaska trip, didn't even own a rifle, but I couldn't take it anymore. I bought myself what I call a (Michigan Gun), a Marlin lever action in 35.rem. I haven't even shot it yet. So heck ya, I'm boned up big time LOL. I applied for a doe permit also, any meat is welcomed. Say a prayer I get one :gun2: too_
mhampel82
Deer Fever Man I have had a fever since the start of July. I went to the doctor and he said the only cure is killing a deer. . I have been shooting my bow and going through my stuff of things I need. I'm in IL so I can not wait for October.
onlyprettier22
Deer Fever My husband has the worst buck fever I have ever seen! (whitetailfreak55) "Buck Fever" by Rhet Atkins sums him up pretty well! In comparison, I have a minor case myself and ready to get my first deer on the cold hard ground this October!
