Maine Hntr
I've been using the moultries for 100 or 120 and have had good luck, not gonna find much cheaper than that. I saw last night on cabelas a primos one on sale for 100 but I've never used primos... Although I like everything else they make!
wtnhunt
If I had not built my own homebrew cams, I would probably have a couple moultries, they are supposed to be a lot better than they used to be.

Slash
We've been using the Wildview IR Camera for about a year now. With rechargeable batteries to swap out it's been working pretty good. Here's a link to a brand new one on Ebay: NEW WILDVIEW INFRARED EXTREME DIGITAL SCOUTING CAMERA TGL5IR on eBay! Under $100 and decent quality. JVANE
Trail cams I've used a ton of different brands and the Moultree M-80 and M-100 are great for the money. They are between $ 100-200.00....... Good luck !!
hoosierhunter
Trail cams Of your application is for mineral lock or food source any camera is fine bc trigger speed doesn't matter on a stationary deer. I you want to use it on a trail then you should do some research. Also only buy a IR type camera. If deer are not conditioned to a white flash it will spook most mature deer. I'll 2nd what Pat said here. Any trail cam will work on a set where the game will remain stationary. If not, it's best to get one with a fast trigger speed and preferably one that has a very short rest period between the time it's tripped for a pic and the next pic. One that has the option to take a blast of 3 or more pics per trip is a bonus too. If I were you, I go to this web site and check out the reviews/test of different trail cams. There's a lot of information on this site. It will tell you the trigger speeds of each trail cam. It also provides picture samples too at different distances.
