wtnhunt
don't really have them up here.... it's a good thing too. Hmmm, kinda wonder how many local lurkers have looked at pics I have put up over the years. With the poaching problem maybe I should not post pics. This year, to date we don't really have anything special around, mostly does and one year old bucks. Here was one from last year I hoped to catch up with that I heard a couple different stories on where it ended up getting killed at. Real nice buck for this area. :void(0)'>
Rhino
That's a niceun William...sorry you didn't catch up to him. Bummer about the poaching problems you have to worry about. This is one survivor from last year I'd sure like to catch up with this year in MS. Last year he was a 4.5 year old buck. I have pics of him as a 3.5 year old 5x5 too. As far as I know, nobody has ever seen him yet. No problem getting pics of him at night. The pics on the left side came from a spot ~1 mile from the spot I got the pics on the right. Got pics of him in 2010 in both spots too. Between those 2 spots is one of our neighbor's property and some of our property but I believe he's on the neighbor as much as us. That limits what I can do to try to encounter him but I still have stands set to try again. BTW...finished going through all my trail cam pics from last year to pick out the better bucks with the most potential that probably survived. I know they weren't killed by at least 2 of our neighbors...one having control of as much land as we have. I got pics of some of them in Feb. too. I've ID'd 18, including this 10 point that I believe is the cream of the crop that could add a lot of bone this year. Out of those 18, I believe just 4 of them were 3.5 last year...the rest were mature. Another 13 bucks I have pics of could be nice this year but they were all 3.5 year old bucks last year. We'll see. Anyway...going through those trail cam pics is just another way to start scouting for this year based on where I found them & saw some of them last year. It also reminded me of some I forgot about that never stepped in front of a trail cam. In a nutshell...working on this year's game plans! onlyprettier22
My husband pulled the card yesterday on one of our new spots and found this guy. Hoping he will get a little bigger in order to be my first buck!
redkneck
This was all I had on my last pull: lol. Actually would have been if had set one out where I intended to the week before. Had no idea our property would flood like that in July, I got lucky, would have lost that cam for sure.

mkh
Had a few coyotes...they seem to be popping up more and more. And a little buck and doe who tried to eat the cam. When I get to the computer maybe I can get a few pics up...nothing special just slightly humorous : )

elkoholic
There has not been much activity in front of the trail cams this year in the form of antlered bucks. I'm not sure where the big boys are. The last picture was from a camera that has only been in place two weeks and most of the pictures on it were super close of some elk (barely recognizable) that were checking it out. I've often thought of putting a stand there and maybe this is the year. It is far off a drivable road, high on a mountain ridge.
