ckrich
Took a weekend trip into Arkansas to go play on the White and Norfork. The fishing was a little slow but we still caught some, and I always have a blast floating and taking turns on the oars. As usual, when I get on the sticks somebody hooks into a good fish. This pic is of my buddy Chance and the 23+" brown that he hooked into while yours truely was rowing. Such an awesome fish!

Zizzer59
AR brown trout You need to try spring river in mammoth spring AR. Right under dam 3 is the best spot and it's not too far from white river.

Jeramie
Sounds great..... Im going to upgrade to a moderate rod sometimes. I was at BP looking at them two weeks ago. I have a very, very cheap rod now. Its fun to play with but would get me laughed off a river.
ckrich
Eh... I get laughed at a lot for what I spent on my Loomis. People think I'm crazy. Look at the Temple Fork Outfitters rods. They are fair priced, good quality, and have a spectacular warranty. At the bare minimum I would get a Professional II, and if you want a fast action go for the BVK.
