redkneck
Already teen inches this week. A third of or lease is underwater bad. Rest of the country is burning up. Sad situation. A day may come when we are building pipelines for water instead of oil.
arrow32
Dang that's a lot of water. We have had showers all week this week good showers to that really soak the ground. Still could use a lot more rain but it's better than what it was.

redkneck
Wanted to move a stand but this is as far as I got: Road seldom goes under water, never in July. I was still a half mile from the creek. Pouring rain now too.

Shaun_300
Wowzers! Hasn't rained a drop here in over a month. 20 miles away in Ottawa the streets were flooded on Monday, big storm with tornadoes hit and just went south of us by about a mile. We need rain BAD, all the grass is dead and forest fires are popping up all over the place.
Hunt or be Hunted
We need it BAD. We are in a exceptional drought. As bad as it gets, A lot of fire crews can't seem to get a break. We are 16+ inches below rainfall. :/

whitetailfreak55
The news said last night that a monsoon could go through here and it wouldn't help the crops a bit. It also said that 90 to 95% of farmers will be cutting they're crops into silage

Shaun_300
Finally getting some much needed rain! Pretty good storm this afternoon and it's starting back up again, we were under a Tornado Warning for about an hour this afternoon. Came home and just as I was watching TV and surfing the net the power went out for close to an hour. Just came back on but not sure for how long since another storm is moving in as I type this. Temps dropped from 90 to the high 60s in the past couple hours.

onlyprettier22
Rain won't stop. My hometown lost all power yesterday because of the heat. Lots of unhappy and hot people! Luckily they have a backup generator for the whole town! News says that the end of this week is going to be upper 80's which is very good news
Mach1
Nothing more than a few sprinkles here since the beginning of May. A couple weeks ago it rained a few inches about a half hour south of us. My parents live 2 1/2 hours east and got 2+ inches in a hour about 10 days ago.
