arrow32
Just to get some conversation going in here. Got a new vortek pistol there yesterday havnt done any research on what people are getting the best shooting out of with what bullets and how much grains of powder and what not. Just thought maybe someone would have an idea. Thinking about maybe starting out with 50 grains and not sure what bullet. Thatll all depend on what I read how much powder might change as well to. wtnhunt
Think for starters Cody, I would contact traditions and see what powder charge is max and what recommendations they have, they should have a manual available either online or should send you one. We use 240 grain xtp mags for our black diamond, that is a pistol bullet, might be a consideration.
arrow32
Ok. The guy I work with that I got them off of is hoping to find the book and give it to me tomorrow at work. But do plan on finding that out before throwing just anything in it. After finding out I'll have to look into those loads of there useable. Thanks William. dbHunterNY
it's a pistol so you're not expecting to shoot out past 150+ yards. so yea i'd try what william said opposed to a ballistic tip type of bullet. barnes expanders are an equivalent to the XTP mags.
