Rhino
Got the call Thrusday that my Kudu, Water Buck, & Oryx mounts were ready. It's been a couple of weeks short of year since I had my hands on them. These trophies bumped an elk & a couple of deer off this wall but they are special being bow kills. I spent most of a day taking everything off this wall so I could rearrange it and include the 3 new trophies. That included some wall repairs & painting before I started over. Anyway...here it is now. This is on the opposite side of my trophy room from the fireplace mounts. Those mounts were recently changed too and that new look is in this thread. http://www.realtree.com/forums/taxidermy/108874-my-2nd-chance-bowkills-home.html BTW...those suckers are heavy for an old fart doing a balancing act on a ladder! hoosierhunter
Finally got my Africa Mounts Beautiful mounts. There is no better feeling than harvesting a trophy animal with the stick and string. You have to be so close and so many variables apply that simply aren't there with a gun. Adjam5
Very nice mounts. With the bow too! That makes it quite more special. Congrats. Glad you were able to bag an Orynx. A big movement to stop their hunting worldwide. They have been placed on the endangered species list by the USFWS, starting 2013. Rhino
Glad you were able to bag an Orynx. A big movement to stop their hunting worldwide. They have been placed on the endangered species list by the USFWS, starting 2013. After my hunt in Namibia, it's hard to believe they're doing that. I saw more Oryx, aka Gemsbuck, than any other animal during my hunt. They are everywhere over there.

Very nice mounts! And yeah they are heavy. My Kudu mount is the heaviest mount I've ever had to deal with.
