bowhunter97
Today is the second day of the season and so far it has been good. I have sat 3 times yesterday morning and today from 11 am- 3:30pm and from 5-8:30 pm. The local deer have absolutley no pattern out here. I have seen em at 11 am one day and 2pm in the same day so that is why i sat mid day today. My buddy offered me yesterday to go to his lease this coming friday. They have deer, hog, turkey, and dove over there. I hope i can get some meat for the freezer. Also my othere friend offered me to hunt his property as long as i give em some meat which i am fine with. I'll give em half the deer so i hope one of these days after work i can go set up a game cam and maybe hunt it sunday who knows.
Dawg
Florida has got the longest hunting season I have ever seen! Not sure I could sit out in the heat though. Hope you get some meat!
Rhino
Florida has got the longest hunting season I have ever seen! And the earliest peak rutting dates by far in the country too Cory Hard to get any sort of pattern after just a few days out there. Hang in there & good luck! dbHunterNY
i wonder what the harvest rates are in reduction % of total population and how it compares to other places. i bet people don't hunt as often as say up here, given the heat, long season, and other factors.
