wtnhunt
With as dry as it has been here, pretty happy with how these plots have turned out. Plot in bottom. Closeup, beans underneath look pretty good.
whitetailfreak55
Looking really good. A lot better then my plots. The only rain we got in the last month or so measured out to be 1/2 inch. Pretty hard on plots and crops
PotashRLS
What is in that mix other than the beans? With dry conditions, I agree it looks pretty good.
wtnhunt
What is in that mix other than the beans? With dry conditions, I agree it looks pretty good. Last I heard we were about a foot and a half behind average rainfall, it is terribly dry here. Hoping we get a good soaker soon. This mix is the mix that has been used for the 4h program, should be: 20 % millets(german foxtail and white proso) 15 % buckwheat 20 % soybeans(laredo and quail haven) 15 % cowpeas 10 % milo 15 % kobe lespedeza 5 % partridge peas I added a few lbs of sorghum and zipper peas to the mix for each plot.
