Ethan Givan
Pulled cards from 4 cams at the other farm this past weekend. Wasn't blown away to say the least, lots of does and little bucks. Having a hard time getting anything mature to walk in front of the camera. Dunno if its the heat, or the fact that the entire 500 acre farm plus the neighbors farm are entirely in corn this year, but its a slow start compared to last year. Anyway heres a few pics. Doesnt look like much at first glance, but he has some interesting growth. I count 13 points on him, 8 on his right, 5 on his left. Doesnt look real mature to me, maybe 3.5? Good looking 8, but never got a good pic of him. I moved this camera a few yards when I pulled the card and Im glad I did. Nice younger 8 point with good potential. arrow32
Got some great pics. If not now in a year or two they'll be ready for ya!
hoosierhunter
Slow start It's the corn. Find the beans and find the bucks. I have the same issues down here. We finally got to the point of requiring our farmer to have our fields split with both corn and beans. He doesn't like it but he doesn't own it. Ethan Givan
Well Im out of luck because there are no beans. Everything is corn. I might move some cameras around next time im over there, I know the big bucks are there.
Rhino
Yep..pretty interesting growth on the buck with the NT points around the bases. Hard to tell age from the angle but the 6 looks like a 1.5 year old. Nice 8. Good luck finding the bigger ones you're dreaming about!
