wtnhunt
Sounds like your uncle needs some help catching/getting rid of tresspassers. Might not be a bad idea to rig a dummy cam in plain sight with the real working cam high in a tree angled down to catch the scumbags. Got a few places here I have put cameras in the past where I was concerned, I put the cameras up out of sight where I had to use the tractor bucket to reach them. Cable locks work so long as the thief does not have or come back with bolt cutters.
hoosierhunter
stolen cams? It's usually not very hard to narrow down your suspects. I personally had a camera stolen and I filed a police report and named the likely person to the officer. I gave them his address and asked for a visit. I do not deal well with trespassing these days. I just call the dnr and have everyone written up.
mhampel82
stolen cams? Thanks. I like the dummy can idea. I may try it. I just don't get how he has lost so many cams out on his land. It is thick woods and not easy to get around to some of the places but he has gotten a lot of cams stolen and I would like to know what I am hunting for. So I'll try some of these ideas ad let you know how they work thanks again.
